Tenía pensado escribirte pero me ganaste de mano. Te comento que todo fue EXCELENTE. Estuvo todo maravilloso. Finalmente el Hotel Paracas es un paraíso, así que nos fuimos más contentos que lo que habíamos proyectado. Los guías fueron todos muy buenos, especialmente Angel con quien compartimos el camino del inca que no sólo nos brindó buena información sino que demostró ser una excelente persona. Mandale nuestros cariños si es que tenés contacto con él. La verdad es que ya recomendamos la página a unos amigos nuestros y ojalá que podamos ir nuevamente por allí. Gracias Irene por todo. Ya de regreso a casa te comento que tanto Patricia como yo hemos disfrutado mucho del tour y que todo salió de maravillas.

Te agradezco a tí a a la gente de Enjoy Perú la excellente coordinación de todas las actividades, las cuales se realizaron en tiempo y sin inconvenientes. Todos los guías fueron excelentes, no sólo los propios de Enjoy, sino también los de Kontiki y los de Trek Bolivia.

Hemos disfrutado mucho de cada uno de los paseos y quedamos maravillados de las bellezas de los paisajes y de su maravillosa gente que aún conserva las tradiciones y formas de vida ancestrales casi sin contaminación. Gracias a ellos y a los guías hemos podido hacer un viaje por el tiempo y disfrutar de las asombrosas culturas andinas y asombrarnos de su grado de evolución como sociedad. Hope you had a nice mini vacation. Thank you so much for organizing our trip to Peru. The guides were terrific- Jose, especially Martin. Everyone picked us up at the airport(s) as planned and not one problem did we encounter.
The hotels were great- Country Club Hotel in Lima, Pueblo Hotel, Casa Andina (Private Collection), and The Monasterio Hotel in Cusco (absolutely beautiful!!). Machu Picchu was breathtaking- Mark and I even hiked a trail the day before our scheduled tour with Martin. Martin was great- he was with us for 3 days. The day we were leaving to go back home he took us to 3 ruins in Cusco in the morning. Visited a food market and also a factory and got myself a beautiful poncho and Mark bought a sweater. He was an excellent guide- explained everything so well. Would recommend him to your company without a question. The Sacred Valley was very interesting. So much to see in your country and so little time.
Well, Erika, you did great! Would definitely recommend your company again. You never know when our paths will cross again!

From your questionnaire-We are more influenced by the destination. In our trips, our primary interests are--Local People, Culture and History, and Scenery. We found you on the internet. We were attracted to the website and prompt response by Erika made us a customer.
We prefer independent travel with help from "tours" to expedite travel and utilize time efficiently. Enjoy Peru was exactly what we needed. Our travel arrangements went very smoothly-from our reception at the airport, arrangements for the trip to Machu Picchu, touring Cusco, and leaving Peru. The locations and accommodations of the hotels were very convenient and permitted easy independent travel in Lima and Cusco. We have absolutely no complaints. To help you improve, I have searched my brain. As we are more "investigative" travelers than "tour" travelers, a thorough street map.
Once again-we felt you and your associates did a wonderful job. We REALLY ENJOYed PERU!! We have told all our friends and we would love to return and discover more of Peru.
Thanks for making our trip so delightful. We will certainly use your agency when we return to Peru.

We really love Peru. The people are great and very friendly and helpful. The food was truly a very pleasant surprise. I had been to Peru about 35 years ago and I guess I had forgotten what a wonderful country it is.
My wife had severe breathing problems in Cusco and required oxygen every night. Aside from that, we had a great experience. We are thinking of returning to see other parts of your beautiful country. Hola Erika, buenos días, la verdad es que estoy muy satisfecho del viaje realizado a tu país, es justo lo que quería encontrar. La selva del Manu me ha gustado mucho, ha sido una experiencia muy interesante, algo nuevo para mi y que me ha llenado, sobre todo porque coincidí con gente muy agradable. El camino Inca también ha sido lo que me esperaba, una prueba dura, y donde me he quedado impresionado por la fuerza y el empeño de los porteadores por hacer bien su trabajo, es algo increible que alguien pueda tener esa capacidad física, y todo por hacernos agradable la experiencia a nosotros los turistas.

Supongo que si vuelvo a viajar a tu país, volveré a contactar contigo, soy un poco pesado a la hora de confirmar los preparativos, pero esta era la primera vez que me arreglaba un viaje por internet y trataba con personas al otro lado lado del charco, y creo que es normal querer tenerlo todo atado y claro.

I had the most amazing time in Peru. The hike to Machu Picchu, the visit to the islands of Titicaca and Cusco are memories I will cherished forever. I want to return to Peru and see more of Lima and other parts of the country. But that will have to be later. Mostly I was so impressed by the people of Peru who are so kind and helpful. I just wanted to say that we had a wonderful time in Lima and Cusco. We enjoyed the trips that you arranged - We thoroughly enjoyed the Hiram Bingham train ride to Machu Pichu and met some fun people. The representatives that picked us up were very friendly and offered lots of good information. I actually was the interpreter for my husband as he does not speak Spanish. We certainly found Miraflores a beautiful place and good place to do souvenir shopping as we found that you could get better deals than Lima and Cusco. We managed to find some very different and original pieces of artwork as well as a beautiful handmade wooden bowl made from Blood wood from the forest. The artist was planning on showing her designs at an art show that evening but I said that we were leaving that evening and would like to purchase the piece, so she sold it to me. We thoroughly enjoyed tasting different versions of pisco sour and even educated ourselves at one of a few well stocked stores where they explained to us the different types of pisco. Of course we had to purchase some bottles to bring back and leave in Canada.

Thank you once again for all the hard work you did in making our vacation very enjoyable.

El viaje a Perú fue especialmente bueno, me sorprendi de la limpieza de Lima, una prueba mas que caundo hay interes politico en resolver algo se puede no importa el partido pòlitico al que pertenezcas. En general la gente en Peru es muy atenta y servicial. El hotel Marriott de Miraflores excelente en todos los sentidos. Nos gusto mucho la ciudad especialmente sus sitios historicos, centro de la ciudad y las ruinas de Pachacamac. Comimos muy bien, fuimos recomendados por un muy amigo chef de Venezuela así que nos trataron excelente en Astrid y Gaston, Toshiro y Fusion. Nos encanto Cusco el hotel Libertador excelente, pero la experiencia de cenar en el Hotel Monasterio y visitarlo no tiene precio. La plaza central de Cusco es una belleza y ademas cenamos dos dias muy rico. Machu Pichu es una experiencia única y sin duda , una de las mejores decisiones fue quedarnos una noche en aguascalientes para no hacer el vieje en tren el mismo dia. Nos quedamos en el Hotel Machu Pichu Pueblo, que sin duda es el mejor y es un remanso de paz , para la diferencia de precio ( 200 dolares menos) es mucho mejor que el Santuary Lodge en el cual almorzamos, no esta mal pero demasiado caro para lo que es.
Recomienden el Machu Pichu Pueblo con los ojos cerrados, ademas nos dimos un masaje en el Spa la misma noche, cenamos rico y al dia siguiente hicimos una excursion en el mismo hotel para ver las orquideas y las mariposas, es muy relajante y uno agarra el tren de regreso al Cuzco, mas descansado, por cierto el viaje en tren me gusto mucho por lo espectacular de las vistas y la magnitud de las montañas y cañones por los que pasabamos que al ir de ida a Machu Pichu no lo apreciamos bien, probablemente por la hora. Fue muy buena idea de la agencia de turismo buscarnos en la penultima estacion antes del Cusco, ya que en autobus se tarde desde alli solo 20 minutos a la ciudad y hora y media en el tren.
Las lineas de Nazca valen la pena asi como la visita a el oasis y bien bueno que nos advirtieron que casi no comieramos antes de montarnos en el avión pequeño. La mayoria de la gente prefirio almorzar primero pero nosotros lo hicimos antes y fue mejor.

Le escribo para hacerle saber lo bien que resultó el viaje por el Titicaca. El guía que nos fue a recoger al hotel fue muy amable con nosotros y estuvo muy atento a los retrasos que tuvo el autobús en el que llegamos para ir al hotel a informarnos el día anterior al tour por el Titicaca. Todo salió tal y como estaba planeado. La llegada a la isla de Suasi fue preciosa, y el recorrido de vuelta en furgoneta rodeando el lago inolvidable. El chófer fue muy amable y nos permitió disfrutar de la travesía a tope, e incluso nos llevó a Juliaca donde nos estuvo esperando con la furgoneta para que pudiéramos dar una vuelta por el mercado.

Por último me gustaría agradecer a enjoyperu.com en general, y a usted especialmente, la atención con la que nos han tratado, y felicitarles porque tienen un país maravilloso con una gente de gran calidad humana.

To any potential travelers that may read this (as I did): It is no easy task to arrange a stay for ten people coming from all over Latin American and the United States, but Maria Elena did it with ease. She was friendly, organized and professional. I often had to make last minute changes to the itineraries and she was both patient and flexible. I would instantly refer anyone I knew traveling to Peru (especially on business) to Maria Elena, as her command of English is also very good.

Jenny was a saint when we arrived in Lima. She picked us up from the airport and helped ensure that all ten people, arriving on different flights, made it to the hotel. She made her self available to me at all hours and was always pleasant and helpful when I took advantage of that availability. Jenny, thank you for all of your help and care while we were in Lima. I couldn't have asked for a better host.

Yes I made it around Peru in 3 weeks and had a great time, very much enjoying your country. I must tell you that my trip to Iquitos was one of my highlights. All bookings ran smoothly, considering I did not have any vouchers for airports or guides due to leaving work before receiving them from you, however this was not a problem at all and everyone was helpful.

I must say that after booking for short trips during my travel with agents directly in Peru, your organized itinerary was much more professional and stress free than any of my others. Other bookings I made in Peru left me without pickups at night and with paying for tour meals (Lunch) twice due to tour guides not having the correct details. This left me calling back to operators in other cities to correct. Very inconvenient. So again it was great to get to Iquitos with no problems at all. I enjoyed a relaxing time kicking back in a hammock between adventures, I was pleased to have left this part of my trip at the end of my 3 weeks, as it gave me time to relax in one place and leave your country with the best farewell. I have nothing to advise you on that could have made this trip any better, thanks to you all for a great trip!!

I have no problem recommending your team to other Aussies hoping to enjoy your country also.

Everything went smoothly, the drivers were nice and in time and also in Puerto Maldonado everything went without problems. So no complains, just compliments. However since everything can be improved I have two suggestions. 1. I was a little nervous about the ticket, since I had nothing but a voucher. You told me I would get the ticket from the airline. However I received the full package from the driver. It would have reasssured me more if I was told the driver would bring all the paperwork I needed. 2. It was difficult packing for both an official conference and a rainforest trip at the same time. The list you gave me talked about two pair of sturdy walking shoes (and preferably Wellington boots), biodegradable soap, raingear etc. However much of that was available in the lodges, July is not the rainy season and the boats had roofs and side covers that kept you dry in case. I would have left about two to three kilo`s of luggage at home (and could have bought more souvenirs) if I had known all that.

But again I was happy and very gratefull for the way you delt with the re:re;re;re;re;re etc. e-mails.

I don't know how you could possibly have improved our time there. The accomodations were great, the lunches on our tours were delicious as well as beautifully located! The tours themselves were very interesting and well presented by guides who spoke good English.I wish we could have stayed longer and done more--maybe another time. Alan was the perfect host--punctual, thoughtful and very helpful. When my husband left his hat on one of the tour busses, he went to the bus depot that evening and retrieved it for us! I would enthusiatically recommend your company to anyone going Cusco! We appreciated all of your help and advice in setting up the trip. Both Franklin and I enjoyed our Puerto Maldonado tour greatly. We had a terrific time! Our tour guide for our stay in the Explorer's Inn was Ricardo, and he was really good. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure that we were never bored and always having a good time. The tours were very nice and well planned out and the surrounding area was just gorgeous. The accomodations at the Explorers Inn were also very nice. The few things that we didn't like were that we had 2 beds instead of one matrimonial bed (though it wasn't a major problem, just more of an annoyance) and I also think it would be helpful to tell us that there is no electricity prior to the trip. Other than that, they were great. The food services were also delcious--we were never hungry! The serving sizes were just right and it was nice to see that even snacks were provided before tours or in the middle of our 6 hour hike--that was really nice. That's all that I can think of for now. I thank you for all your help in assisting us with booking and finalizing all the details. If I ever come across anyone traveling to Peru, I will most certainly recommend this tour and you to them. Thank you for everything!

We had such a wonderful time in Peru. Your arrangements were perfect. The hotels were very nice, comfortable and accommodating. All of our rides and escorts were couteous, professional and prompt. I had the most wonderful time in Peru. Your hotel and service was good and I was taken to the airport the next morning. I met my Daughter in Puno and we spent three weeks back packing around the lake, going into Bolivia for two days. We then went up to Cusco and did various tours. Sacred Valley, horse riding and white water rafting.

The highlight was the Inca trail wih Peru Treks which was quite breathtaking. I felt so good that I accomplished this with no trouble or altitude problems.

Laura is now in Northern Peru and with envy I am again receiving her E-mails instead of experiencing it with her. Then again she does not want her Mum around all the time!!!.

Even so, I extended the stay at the last minute by one extra night and had a friend take over as I was leaving near midnight. Next time in Peru, I will be sure to check out what Enjoy Peru has to offer. Since it was at the last minute I could not take advantage of your rate for the extra night. It would be great if you could have the your rates extend to include subsequent nights if a stay is extended for inforseen reasons. The arrangements you made for us were excellent. Our plane was late but we were still met at 1AM by the driver who took us to the Manhattan Inn Hotel, a simple but clean Hotel in close proximity to the airport. This helped us get a few hours sleep we would not have been able to have if we had staid in Miraflores. The hotel had a nice breakfast ready for us inspite of our having to leave very early in the morning.

Nuestro viaje a Perú fue estupendo. No pasamos ni un solo contratiempo en todos los días que pasamos allá. El hotel fue muy cómodo, el servicio perfecto. Cuzco nos gustó enormemente, una ciudad realmente fascinante. Visitamos todos los museos importantes y aún hicimos un viaje de un día entero a las ruinas fuera de Cuzco con un guía-taxista muy enterado. Lo pasamos bien en Aguas Calientes tambien. Fuimos dos veces a Macchu Picchu, y el segundo día subimos a Huana Picchu. El tiempo permaneció suave el viaje entero, creo que solo llovió una vez brevemente. Naturalmente si alguien nos pide ayuda con un viaje a Perú, te recomendaremos con placer.

Thanks for your email. It was a major shock returning from the tropics of Tambopata to a freezing cold Melbourne winter. I've just finished sorting and labelling over 4,500 photos from our trip to Ecuador and Peru, so we have lots of great memories of a fabulous trip.

I am delighted to report that our experience in Peru was outstanding, one of the best trips we have ever done. The service was world class, equal to the best service and experience (and way better than most!) we have had anywhere in the world. All the arrangements worked very well. Percy in Cusco was just terrific, he is a really personable guy, and made us feel very welcome and organised things really well during our stay in Cusco.

The accommodations and tours were excellent. The trip to Tambopata was a real highlight, the folks at Rainforest Expeditions were terrific, that is an excellent tour to the Amazon, a really great experience, very good food, good accommodation, and we were looked after really well.

Lima airport is modern and clean, the LAN staff very helpful and helpful at check-in and arrival, Immigration were also polite and efficient, all of these make travel a pleasure and much easier.
